Jeni, a So Cal native, grew up dancing and being active from an early age. After dancing competitively and professionally for 18+ years, she majored in fashion and worked in the apparel industry for four years until she realized that she was missing the amazing feeling that dancing and being active gave her throughout the day. So, she decided to take a chance and leave the apparel industry to go back to her roots.\n\nNow, slightly obsessed with fitness, Jeni loves training - strength training, boxing, cycling, yoga - it all makes sense to her because of her deep roots with Pilates. Pilates is the base of all her routines. No matter what workout she's doing, it provides the foundation for her body to take it on. Her upbeat and supportive attitude makes you want to come to her class every day for the challenging workout, but also to just spend time with her. Basically, she's the ideal combination of attentive trainer and best friend.\n\nJeni is nationally certified through the Pilates training program at Equinox. She is also certified in Barworks through Yogaworks and cycling through Schwinn.

Level 2 10 mins

Take ten minutes to adore your core and activate all parts of your abs. Start with a serious set of crunches, power through a forearm plank, then fire up your obliques before a final teaser set.

Level 2-3 30 mins

Grab a set of medium weights to sculpt your body from head to toe. This is a seriously strong workout for your arms, core, and legs featuring moves like squats, Russian twists, and jump squats. all using your weights. Props Needed: A set of medium hand weights.

This fast-paced, full-body workout incorporates strength drills, core work and plenty of pushups! Keep it moving as you work around your body from your arms to your core to your legs and then back to your core one more time. Dig deep for a four-minute pushup drill in the middle of class and a one-minute burpee challenge to finish.
