This is done through intention, dedication, prayer, conscious breath, sound and movements that reflect radical self care in the truth of the moment. Vinyasa is an unhurried exploratory and creative flow that is steeped in the traditions of yoga master Krishnamacharya and the yoga traditions of Iyengar and Ashtanga yoga. With over 20 years of practice and devotion to the healing arts including; meditation, Shiatsu & 5 Element Theory, Energetic Bodywork, Prenatal/Post Natal yoga, Nutrition, Anatomy/Physiology and Core Shamanism; Jo brings into the practice a reverence for the mystery of life and encourages all students to practice with spontaneity by stepping into the unknown.

Yoga

Level 1-2 75 mins

Satisfy your needs for both movement and rest with this well-balanced class. You'll flow through an hour of feel-good poses, including sun salutations, standing balances, malasana, and flying pigeon prep. Then come down to your mat for some final stretches before sinking deeply into a blissful fifteen-minute yoga nidra. Props Suggested: A blanket, a bolster, and an eye pillow.

Yoga

Level 1-2 30 mins

Carrying and caring for your baby is a physically demanding task. This postnatal sequence is designed to target the neck and shoulder tension common in new mothers. Melt away tightness in lunges with cactus arms, side stretches, and twists, along with gomukhasana and cobra work to open up your chest, shoulders, and back. Wind things down with a simple mantra in savasana, then return to seated for a brief contemplation of your own healing touch. Props Suggested: A strap and a blanket.

Meditation

Level 1 5 mins

This meditation is designed to help busy people feel more grounded. It's wonderful after travel or at any time throughout the day when you could use more stability and connectedness.
